How do you dispose of one properly.
OCTOPUS NEWS: Something About Your Cell Phone by Chen Kuan Yu, 29’10, Taiwan, 2016 – Most of the kids in Taiwan have their own smartphones and computers. They learn a lot and have fun with these 3C products, but they never know how they’re produced and where their wastes go. In fact, these 3C wastes cause problems about the environment and human rights. With photos from around the world and digital maps, we lead the kids to the Samsung building in Korea, one of the biggest cell phone manufacturers, and to the backstreets in Africa to see how they deal with recycled computers. We want the kids to know who pays the price of the technology which facilitates our life.
