The 2nd Annual Bay Area International Children's Film Festival (BAICFF) kicked off at 11:00 am on January 23, 2010 in Alameda, CA (directions) with a full line of high-quality family-friendly films from around the world. The expanded two-day festival provided an opportunity for families to come together to celebrate the art, culture and diversity that are fundamental to the Bay Area.

_DSC9831(Left) The program showcased academy award nominated films and filmmakers and offered something for every child's imagination: eye-popping animation, amazing documentaries, stories that tackle important issues from a kids-eye view, and unique opportunities to chat with filmmakers.

Program highlights included Lost and Found (UK) by Phillip Hunt; Leonardo (USA) by Jim Capobianco; Mutt (Australia) by Glen Hunwick; Racing Dreams (USA) by Marshall Curry; The Secret of Kells (Ireland) by Tomm Moore; New Boy (Ireland) by

Steph Green; The Danish Poet (Canada/Norway) by Torill Kove and many more.
